SCOTTO & ASSOCIÉS is advising Armacell’s management on its change in ownership

Scotto & Associés, in collaboration with Pöllath + Partners, is advising Armacell’s management on the sale of the group by the Bahraini fund Investcorp to the British fund Charterhouse.

Armacell is an international group headquartered in Münster, Germany. The group is the global market leader in flexible technical insulation materials. It employs 2,400 people across 19 production sites in 13 countries. The group reported EBITDA of €69 million in 2012.

The management team, led by CEO Patrick Mathieu, consists of executives based primarily in Germany, but also in the United States, Australia, and Asia.

The law firm Scotto & Associés (Isabelle Cheradame, partner, and Alexandra Perette), in conjunction with the law firm Pöllath + Partners (Benedikt Hohaus, partner, and Barbara Koch-Schulte), is advising management on the legal and tax aspects related to the exit from the transaction with Investcorp and the reinvestment alongside Charterhouse.

Charterhouse is represented by the law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges (Gerhard Schmidt, Christian Tappeiner, Jürgen Borst).

Investcorp is being advised by the law firm Heymann & Partner (Titus Walek).
