Presto Engineering, a specialist in the design and production of integrated circuits (ASICs), announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations regarding its acquisition by DENTRESSANGLE Capital.
Founded in 2006 in the United States, Presto—led by Cédric Mayor—had been owned by Verto since 2018. Verto had supported the establishment of Presto’s headquarters in France, in addition to locations in Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Asia. With these locations in place, Presto Engineering is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the growth of the European market and become a leading player. The company targets all major markets in EMEA and North America through local hubs that ensure proximity to its customers and strengthen its ASIC design capabilities through hiring and acquisitions.
With the support of DENTRESSANGLE, Presto is positioning itself as a European consolidation platform for the ASIC sector.
