Imerys, the world leader in specialty minerals for industry, has entered into exclusive negotiations with the Platinum Equity fund regarding the sale of its High-Temperature Solutions (HTS) business for approximately 930 million euros.
Imerys HTS is a global leader in refractory solutions, serving more than 6,000 customers in the steel, thermal, and foundry markets. The business, which generated revenue of 801 million euros in 2021, employs 2,800 people across 36 sites in 16 countries.
