Scotto Partners is advising Babcock Wanson's management on the acquisitions of Parat and PBS Power Equipment

Following last October’s announcement of the acquisition of Donau Carbon Technologies, the international Babcock Wanson Group, which specializes in industrial boiler equipment, has taken another step toward strengthening its leading position in the pan-European energy transition market.

Babcock Wanson, which has been owned by Kartesia since 2021, is thus completing the integration of the Norwegian company Parat—a global leader in high-pressure boilers—and PBS Power Equipment, a key player in Central Europe for industrial boiler solutions.

These two acquisitions round out Babcock Wanson’s 2022 external growth program, which already included the October 2022 acquisition of Donau Carbon Technology, a leader in environmental solutions for VOC destruction and solvent recovery.

In connection with these two acquisitions, Scotto Partners advised Babcock Wanson’s management with a team led byIsabelle Cheradame (partner), assisted by Fiona Kalach and Shanez Kouchkar on corporate matters, and Jérôme Commerçon (partner), supported by Pierre-Henri Abadie on tax matters.
