Scotto Partners is advising Xavier Fourel on the acquisition of the Aquilus Group

The Aquilus Group, which specializes in the design and sale of swimming pools and spas, has been acquired by its CEO, Xavier Fourel, who now holds a majority stake, with support from Capitem Partenaires and the Caisse d’Epargne Loire Drôme Ardèche.
Through this management buyout (MBO), Xavier Fourel is taking control of a group where he has served as CEO since 2009. Together with his new financial partners, Xavier Fourel aims to continue developing the group and the Aquilus brand, while upholding the values the group has championed since its founding.
Founded in 1981 in Valence, the Aquilus Group enjoys a strong brand reputation in its industry, built on 40 years of experience and the construction of more than 30,000 swimming pools, and has achieved annual revenue of 13m€.
In connection with this MBO, Xavier Fourel was advised by Scotto Partners, with a team led by Adrien Badelon ( partner), assisted by William Ducrocq-Ferré on corporate matters; Jérôme Commerçon (partner), assisted by Martine Le Roux and Julien Pardieu on tax matters; and Bertrand Thibaut (counsel) and Alban Tourneux on employment law matters.
