Scotto Partners advised Agrinergia in connection with the proposed acquisition of the Akuo Group by the investment fund Ardian.
Founded in 2007 by Eric Scotto and Patrice Lucas and backed by ICG since 2022, Akuo is a company specializing in renewable energy production. As an expert in wind power, solar power, and energy storage, Akuo operates in key markets across Europe and the Americas.
With this transaction, Akuo plans to accelerate its growth, particularly through its 2 gigawatts of projects currently under construction or in operation in wind power, solar power, battery storage, and hybrid projects.
Agrinergia was advised by Scotto Partners, with a team consisting of Coralie Oger (partner), assisted by Caroline Vieren and Shanez Kouchkar on corporate matters, as well as Jérôme Commerçon (partner), assisted by Pierre-Henri Abadie and Thibault Sitoleux on tax matters, and Alban Tourneux on employment law matters.
The proposed acquisition remains subject to the legal process of informing and consulting with the relevant employee representative bodies, as well as to approval by the competent regulatory authorities.
