Linxis Group, a leader in the industrial bakery and pastry equipment sector, has been sold to Hillenbrand, an international industrial group with operations in more than 40 countries. Linxis was put up for sale by its shareholder, the investment fund IK Partners, for 572 million euros.
Founded in 1988, LINXIS Group is a global leader in the manufacture of industrial equipment for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries, focusing on the critical stages of production processes. The Group offers cutting-edge services and solutions through its four brands. The Group’s strength stems from its global footprint, its emphasis on innovation and research and development, and the design of state-of-the-art products that deliver maximum value to its customers. Since its acquisition by IK Partners in 2017, Linxis has completed four acquisitions.
In connection with this sale, Linxis’s management is being advised by Scotto Partners, with a team consisting of Isabelle Cheradame (partner), supported by Charlotte Hazan (counsel) and Alexandre Schnyder, on corporate and M&A matters, and Jérome Commerçon (partner), supported by Julien Pardieu and Loïc Pipaud, on tax matters.
