Scotto Partners is advising Sagemcom on the acquisition of one of its divisions, Demat’Box, by Plustek.

Plustek, a specialist in imaging solutions, has just announced the recent acquisition of Demat'Box, a division of Sagemcom, a provider of communication terminals and solutions for the broadband, audiovisual, and energy markets.

This merger paves the way for a range of comprehensive and innovative document management solutions, enhancing Plustek's core offerings, which now include document imaging, data capture and extraction, storage, and archiving for customers worldwide.

For its part, Demat'Box was originally designed for accountants and certified public accountants and remains a cloud-based solution that simplifies the process of exchanging physical documents by seamlessly integrating customer invoices into their accounting system.

By combining the power of imaging solutions with cloud platform technology, Plustek aims to offer a range of cutting-edge document management and imaging solutions that enable professionals to improve document capture through optimized data extraction and archiving, thereby boosting operational productivity.
