Xavier Colard is advising the founders of GlobePayroll on the sale of an absolute majority of the company’s shares to SD Worx
GlobePayroll, which specializes in payroll management software for mid-market companies, has sold its entire equity stake to SD Worx.
Founded in 2015, the French startup was the first in the market to offer a global payroll solution based entirely on cloud technology. In 2018, GlobePayroll entered into a partnership with SD Worx, one of the world’s leading providers of payroll and HR services. SD Worx acquired a 40% stake in GlobePayroll to accelerate its international growth and provide GlobePayroll with the financial resources needed to continue its expansion.
GlobePayroll is thus leveraging SD Worx’s increased stake to accelerate the commercialization of its fully cloud-based payroll solution, particularly on an international scale. Known as Global People Services, this offering covers all aspects of administrative and payroll management and is aimed at mid-sized European markets.
