Scotto Partners is advising Elicit Plant on a €45 million funding round
Press Release
Elicit Plant, a pioneering agri-biotech company specializing in biosolutions for field crops, has raised 45 million euros to accelerate its international expansion in response to the climate challenges faced by farmers. This funding round was led by the Carbyne fund, with participation from long-standing investors Sofinnova Partners, ECBF, and BPI. The funds raised will enable the company to ramp up the commercialization of existing solutions and support the development of new ones, with the goal of providing farmers worldwide with effective products to address the climate uncertainties that affect their yields and their ability to feed populations and produce bio-based materials.
Scotto Partners is handling the matter with a team led by Coralie Oger, a partner; Clément Carol and Clara Cesaro, who are handling the corporate aspects; and Jérôme Commerçon, a partner, and Frédéric Quidal, who are handling the tax aspects.
Jeantet accompanied Carbyne with Bertrand Barrier, and Degroux-Brugère accompanied BPI with Jérémy Swiecznik and Benoît Courtet.
