SCOTTO & ASSOCIÉS is advising management on a management buy-in (MBI) of Loch Lomond's assets
Paris, March 18, 2014
Exponent's management and investment fund have finalized the acquisition of Loch Lomond's assets by the Loch Lomond Group holding company.
The Loch Lomond Group acquired two distilleries, a bottling plant, and various brands—including the legendary Loch Lomond brand, the High Commissioner brand, and the Glen’s vodka brands—from the family that owned them.
The transaction took the form of an MBI, with the arrival of a team of outside managers.
Scotto & Associés advised the management team formed around Colin Matthews (a former senior executive at Imperial Tobacco), with Nick Rose (former CFO of the Diageo spirits group) serving as Chairman, Richard Miles as CFO, and Bruce Davidson as Business Development Director.
The firm’s team consisted of Isabelle Cheradame, a partner, and Adrien Badelon, assisted by Emmie Jones of Macfarlanes.
