Scotto Partners is advising Filippo Monteleone and Domnin de Kerdaniel on the acquisition of Essling Capital

Essling Capital, an independent asset management firm specializing in unlisted assets, announces the acquisition of the group’s entire equity by Filippo Monteleone, founding chairman of CAREIT, and Domnin de Kerdaniel (CVC Capital Partners, 3i, KKR).

Founded in 2017, Essling Capital has nearly 450 million euros in assets under management and has grown by offering investment solutions in the private equity sector, including a co-investment program in Europe and the United States (“ Essling Co-Invest”) and a Small & Mid-Cap Lead Investment program targeting high-growth companies in the digital, healthcare, and B2B services sectors (“Essling Expansion”).

Domnin de Kerdaniel and Filippo Monteleone have been appointed Chairman and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Essling Capital, respectively. They will continue to develop the investment strategy alongside the current teams (Essling Co-Investment and Essling Expansion): “We share the ambition to consolidate the solutions we have implemented, but also to expand our investments into other markets, particularly in the healthcare sector at the European level,” says Filippo Monteleone.
