Scotto Partners is advising management on the acquisition of Sofema
Press Release
SOFEMA, a leading French company in the defense sector, is restructuring its ownership and governance. Nearly all of its capital has been transferred to THARROS HOLDING, a holding company founded by the company’s employees and executives, which now holds 98.8% of SOFEMA’s shares—shares that were previously held by major defense industry players.
The new leadership team will consist of Frédéric Tisserand, who now serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Christian Kamara, who serves as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mr. Guillaume Giscard d’Estaing.
SOFEMA, whose core business is the supply of military ground and aerospace equipment, aims to strengthen its position in the domestic market and revitalize its export operations.
Scotto Partners worked alongside SOFEMA’s management team with a team consisting of Coralie Oger, partner; Caroline Vieren, handling M&A and corporate matters; Emilie Renaud, partner, handling tax matters; and Alban Tourneux, handling employment law matters.
The ADIT Group was advised by the firm BDGS & Associés, represented by Jérôme du Chazaud, Arthur Teboul, and Valérie Monneyron.
